A Hackathon for Environmental Impact
In collaboration with Station J and backed by the Palestine Investment Fund, EchoHack Jerusalem brought together 50 passionate participants for a three-day journey of innovation. Focused on tackling environmental and sustainability challenges, the hackathon provided a platform for aspiring changemakers to develop solutions, form strong teams, and present their ideas to a jury panel.
As the director and moderator, I led the event’s execution through 16 Baker Street Studio, ensuring a seamless experience from branding to facilitation. Our role extended beyond planning—we crafted the event’s identity, developed engaging content, and provided expert mentorship alongside professionals in water management, waste reduction, and sustainable development. The impact? Two startups that emerged from the event have since secured further support and funding, continuing their journey toward real-world sustainability solutions.
Key Contributions:
✔ Hackathon Planning & Execution – End-to-end organization of the event, ensuring a structured and impactful experience.
✔ Branding & Visual Identity – Designed all event materials, marketing assets, and media coverage.
✔ Workshops & Mentorship – Conducted targeted workshops and facilitated expert guidance for participants.
✔ Community & Impact – Fostered an ecosystem where two startups successfully launched and continued their journey.
